The Easy Way to Fix Corrupt Registry!

Computer speed has always been a major concern with PC owners, and even more so with new technology constantly demanding more out of people's computers. If you don't regularly clean and fix your registry, your computer will start to become bogged down and become very slow. Eventually, it may slow down to a halt!

This isn't an ideal situation because people use computers for everything, and if your computer starts to get really slow when working on an important project, it can be frustrating. One reason cleaning the registry is so important is because a corrupt registry increases the stress on the hard drive because it must look through several possible operations just to find the right one it needs to executing.

Free registry cleaners

There are several programs you can buy and download that can fix your registry. Many people look for free registry-fixing programs in a quest to save money. However, free registry scanners aren't really free. They will repair some problems and then they will ask if you want to continue to repair your registry.

If you say yes, the program will ask for your credit card number. In short, free ones end up being more expensive than regular repair programs that are more upfront about not being free. All registry cleaners will scan for free and then need to be bought before they will actually do a repair to your registry. However, this is normal operating procedure.

Supercharge your computer with an optimizer

When searching for a good registry-fixing program, it's important to know what features to look for. One of the most important features you should look for is one that will also optimize your registry. This is important because an optimizer will give your computer even more speed than a regular registry repair program will.

Also, you should make sure the cleaner/optimizer is a reputable one. The best way to find out this information is by recommendation. Advertisements are one thing, but if someone has actually used it and is able tell you how it worked, it would be a big plus!

Another little sidebar is this fact.

There are a lot of registry programs that were good at one time but now, they are yesterday's news. So, when you are getting recommendations, make sure someone isn't telling you about one they used a few years ago, as this one may no longer be a top tier cleaner. Of course, if you are getting a cleaner/optimizer, you know you'll be getting the latest thing.

We all love our computers, and hate them when they don't act the way we want them to. One of the best ways to keep your computer in tip-top shape is to regularly scan the registry for errors and then let the program repair any it may find.

Remember, a computer should be scanned for viruses and spyware, as well. However, once removed these things leave false entries in the registry. So, to finish the job, use a good registry repair program and if it includes an optimizer, your computer will be back up to speed and then some!

Tips to Help Balance Career and Family

Whether you are male or female, a mom or a dad, balancing career and family can be really difficult. When you're a woman, though, the choices you have to make seem especially difficult and the responsibilities all the more great. For some reason, women are guilt-ridden with their career decisions and the choices they make about working while trying to raise their children, providing nutritious meals for their family, keeping a respectable house and keeping their husbands happy. Last on the list, of course, is finding some time for themselves. So how does a woman find time to actually feel happy with her daily activities while keeping up with all of the responsibility?

First, take time to smell the roses! Literally, you can take time to smell the roses but you can actually do this with no flowers in sight. Every day, try to look around and appreciate what you have, taking in the sounds of your child's laughter, the wag of your dog's tail, the special glance of your husband as you tell a funny joke. Sometimes, the knowledge of what you have on your plate for the day will feel overwhelming, but a little perspective goes a long way. It may be a cliché and a very tired phrase, but it truly does work. People tend to get lost in the mundane, day-to-day "functioning" instead of really living their lives. For example, next time you are worried about fitting in your exercise with your child's play date at Little Gym, forego the Little Gym and head out with your son or daughter for a run. Strap the little one in the jog stroller or if he or she is old enough, ask them to put on the running shoes with Mommy and head outside! Once outside, you can literally stop to smell the roses. Just a few minutes of gratitude a day will work wonders for your soul and automatically make your life feel more balanced.

Along these same lines, try and give yourself some "me" time once a week. Once a week may not seem like much, but if you really allow yourself to soak it in and enjoy the time spent, it will make the stress of all of the rest of the hectic days melt away. Take a good block of time on a Saturday or Sunday - 2 hours, maybe - and mark this time in your calendar in pen, not pencil. Keep a standing appointment with yourself, and honor it as you would any other. Think you are too busy on a weekend to do this? You will feel much more productive the rest of the weekend allowing yourself this little ‘refresher', rather than trying to cram some time in on a random Tuesday or other weeknight. For this special time, you can book a massage or a facial at your favorite spa. Take a couple of hours to go window shopping at your favorites stores, by yourself or with a friend. Take in a matinee with a couple of girlfriends. If your husband is willing to fly solo on a Saturday night, you can even book a girls' night out once in a while and truly let loose! Even if your budget doesn't allow for these activities once a week, you can lock yourself in the bathroom with a good book, a bubble bath and a nice glass of wine and feel good about your time alone - you deserve some!

Probably the most obvious way to balance career and family is to incorporate your family into what would otherwise be "work time". If you have a short commute to work, for example, perhaps you can drive your kids to school each morning instead of having them take the bus. In the alternative, you could have your morning cup of coffee at the bus stop with them and spend a few minutes chatting about their day and what they plan to learn in school as you sip your cup of Joe and breathe in the morning air to mentally prepare for your own day ahead. If you normally exercise in the morning and leave the house very early, switch your workout time to lunch and leave the office to go to the gym, eating at your desk when you get back. You will have more time with your family each day and get a healthy break from your pile of papers to boot.

You may need to get a little creative with your schedule, but there are definitely ways to help balance career and family. Sometimes an extra few minutes each day or a once-weekly good block of time can go a long way in helping restore your peace of mind and help you feel less harried.

Meaning Of Fengshui

Feng Shui, literally means wind and water. It is rapidly becoming a standard practice for creating the ideal environment in which to live and work. Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese study of the natural and “built” environment and has been practiced for thousands of years. This environment can be at the office, in your home, in a building, or on real property.

A Feng Shui analysis examines the surrounding environment, the building, how the people interact with the building and looks at time-related factors. Based upon these considerations, recommendations can be made on how to improve your relationship with the environment around you. Results include prosperity, health benefits, and well being. Properly applied, Feng Shui recommendations can result in improvements in the life of the individuals who occupy the property.

How did Feng Shui originate? Feng Shui can be stated as a form of “Geo-mancy” or “Earth Wisdom.” The Chinese form of Geomancy, or Feng Shui, has evolved to be both an Science and an Art. The science comes from the calculations and methodology used in analyzing a property. The Art of Feng Shui is the wisdom acquired from performing a multitude of analysis and knowing the exact degree to which the remedies (which are the results of the scientific analysis) are prescribed. Throughout ancient China, classical Feng Shui was a closely guarded discipline used as a tool to ensure the good health, wealth, and power of the Imperial Dynasties. What are the basic principles of Feng Shui? The balance of Yin and Yang Feng Shui is based on the principle of Yin and Yang. Balance, harmony, consistent change, and the interdependency of all things are but a few of the deep meanings within this simple representation. Yang representing heat and light is rising and Yin representing cold and darkness descends.

These are just two of the many examples of logic and insight to be discovered within this image. Yin and Yang Yang, representing heat rises on the left (or East) and reaches its peak at the top (South). Yin representing coolness descends on the right (West) and reaches its maximum at the bottom (North).Another analogy is that the sun rises in the East, reaches its hottest at noon and sets in the west, soon reaching its darkest. Yet within Yin there is a seed of Yang waiting to arise and within Yang there is Yin waiting to descend. This analogy can be applied to time, seasons, directions, and many other cycles of change.

The Relationship of Five Elements 5 Elements Another simple, yet powerful representation based upon the Tai Chi (Yin and Yang representation shown above) is the 5 elements diagram. It is a view of how the elemental energies interact. Shown above in its balanced state, it is in harmony. Yet each element can strengthen or weaken other elements in a variety of beneficial and detrimental ways.

When calculating the energy “blueprint” of a property these interactions provide the key to correcting issues within a property. The Eight Trigrams The Eight Trigrams are the basis for Feng Shui analysis and calculations. A Trigram is a representation of one of the eight directions. In the “Ba Gua” there is also a center which has no directional association, but is associated with earth. Based also on Yin and Yang concepts, the I-Ching, the Five Elements, and the Lo-shu map, it conveys a map for all other calculations used to determine the energy blueprint within a property.

The East/West Theory - (8 House Theory) both people and houses belong to one of the Trigrams. Each of the Trigrams fall into two distinct categories as either East group or West group. Matching a West group house type to a West group person is ideal, as is matching an East group house to an East group person. East Group North, South Southeast and East West Group Northeast, Northwest, Southwest and West.

How Diet Effects Your Sleep

What you eat during the day and evening can affect your sleeping patterns. If your diet consists of a high amount of processed foods you may want to try eating more wholesome products. You may want to eliminate, reduce, or substitute the amount of sugars, fats, and preservatives from your daily intake of food. This may benefit your ability to fall asleep at night as well as improve your general health. Eat a well balanced diet by following the recommended daily food allowance. Make sure you are meeting the daily requirements for fresh fruits and vegetables. Eat complex carbohydrates and choose protein that is low in fat.

You can also choose healthy meat substitutes, such at tofu and vegetarian burgers. Become aware of any food allergies that you have and try to avoid them. If your body is allergic to certain foods it may affect the way you think and feel. This could be a contributing factor to your sleep problem. Some common food allergies that are known to contribute to insomnia are corn, dairy products, wheat, and chocolate. Try to schedule your last evening meal at least four hours before bed. Eat a healthy, well balanced meal. Try not to overeat as this may cause you to become tired after your meal. You want to avoid feeling tired or napping in the early evening hours as this will greatly hinder your ability to fall asleep at bedtime. As well, try to eat enough so that you are not hungry later and find your self reaching for foods that are high in fat or sugars. If you find that you are hungry before bed you may find that a small snack an hour or two before bedtime will help.

Avoid foods that are high in protein, fats, and sugars. You should also avoid foods that are too heavy or spicy. Try a bit of cereal and milk or one serving of low-fat yogurt. The key idea is to provide your body with a bit of nourishment to avoid hunger pangs and not overindulge in an evening snack. The goal is to reduce your hunger and allow your body to rest and relax. Make sure that you drink enough water during the day. Studies show that your daily recommended water intake should be around 8 glasses, or 2liters.If your body is well hydrated it won't signal you to wake up during the night.

Try to avoid drinking water or other liquids one hour before bed if the need to urinate wakes you up during the night. The healthier you eat the more balanced you will feel both physically and emotionally. The target here is to get you to sleep regularly and deeply without waking during the night.
